The Drinking and Recycled Water Lab develops research across the whole water supply cycle, (potable and fit for purpose reuse), incorporating advanced technology for water storage, production, and delivery, including emerging water production technology and contaminant management.
ACWEB works in partnership with industry partners to integrate and develop conventional and innovative water treatment technologies including membrane-based processes, coagulation, advanced oxidation processes, biological and electrochemical processes.
With world-class lab and pilot facilities, we investigate process performance against a wide range of chemical and biological water quality parameters, including ongoing and emerging contaminants and disinfection by-products, as well as climate-impacted water quality issues.
