This project will be looking at measures to support households (including new and longer-term vulnerable and hardship communities) improve water and energy efficiency. The focus on households is innovative as the more traditional focus has always been on utility energy efficiency, even though households represent about 90% of energy use in the water cycle (eg for water heating).

The project aims to reduce costs and improve affordability. It will be used to inform a government roundtable working group as an example of what can be done to provide wider support to COVID-influenced households/communities.
