Dr Andrea holds a Masters degree in Process Engineering from Complutense University of Madrid, Spain and possesses certificate in Laboratory Techniques from TAFE (Queensland). She has obtained her Ph.D. in the conversion of greenhouse gases into valuable products at Australian Centre for Water and Environmental Biotechnology, The University of Queensland. She is a dynamic and curious chemical engineer with proven hands-on experience in water analysis, research analytical techniques and process engineering for the hydrocarbon industries as well as water treatment industries. 

Her focus at ASL is to continuously adapt and execute broader instrumental analytical methods for waste-, surface- and drinking water to support high-level research for innovative water management solutions.
