Ms Jingyu Ge

Researcher biography
Jingyu Ge is a PhD student at the Australian Centre for Water and Environmental Biotechnology (ACWEB), The University of Queensland. Her research focuses on developing data-driven models for wet weather flow prediction in urban sewer systems, with a particular interest in diagnosing and quantifying inflow and infiltration (I/I). She integrates engineering knowledge with machine learning, signal processing, and time series analysis to support digital water solutions. With a background spanning electronic engineering, electrical engineering, and environmental engineering, Jingyu’s work aims to enhance the resilience and efficiency of wastewater infrastructure under changing climatic conditions.
