We are a world leading centre in water research and an emerging leader in environmental biotechnology. ACWEB has approximately 100 personnel, across academic, research support, and higher degree research staff.

It is a faculty research centre with broad collaborative links to over 100 different utilities, businesses, industry groups, research institutions, and educational facilities around Australia and the world.

The ACWEB research portfolio consists of nine research themes that are achieving sustainable outcomes for the water industry, protecting our water resources and critical infrastructure.
As an internationally recognised technology leader, ACWEB is actively involved in the domestic and industrial water and wastewater industry.
