Dr Keshab Sharma

Researcher biography
Keshab received his PhD in Civil Engineering in 2003 from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Before this, he completed Masters of Engineering in Water and Wastewater Engineering in 1998 at the Asian Institute of Technology in Bangkok (Thailand). In 2004, Keshab moved to the Advanced Water Management at the University of Queensland as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the ARC funded research project on Sewer Biotransformation and Modelling. Keshab's research interests include sewer process modelling, odour and corrosion control in sewer systems and integrated assessment of urban water systems.
Keshab is a key member of Sewer Research group, and has been involved in a number of research projects in the Sewer area. He is also involved in SeweX (a spin-off company under UniQuest) providing support to water industry through consulting and contract research making substantial contributions to the commercialization of research outcomes of the research projects already completed.
