Eloise is a microbiologist and water scientist with diverse technical, industry, government, and academic experience. Eloise joined the AWMC after 2 years with Seqwater/LinkWater in drinking water quality and data management. Prior to this she held research and teaching positions at QUT and Griffith University. She has worked in the fields of drinking water, groundwater, stormwater, and wastewater, greenhouse gas cycling, and also has experience as a commercial phycologist and freelance editor. Her PhD established a zeal for microbial-metal interactions and she is perhaps the only researcher in the southern hemisphere to have published in both bacterial manganese oxidation and neutrophillic iron oxidation. Eloise is passionate about the total water cycle and motorcycles.
