lecFree Nitrous Acid (FNA) technology is recognized to offer a sustainable approach to enhancing Wastewater Treatment and Anaerobic Digestion (AD) processes.
The conducted studies have demonstrated its capability to improve the AD process through the FNA pre-treatment of Waste Activated Sludge (WAS). However, to facilitate the design for its full-scale implementation, a holistic FNA study was still required.

In this seminar, I will zoom in on Zhiguo’s overall picture of the FNA research, mainly focusing on the transition between stage 2 to stage 3 over the past 5 years. As a fresh graduate, I will also share with you the entire journey of my PhD, ups and downs, joy and sorrow, particularly the experience of how to go through struggling period during PhD.
