Advance Queensland Industry Research Fellowships
Sludge from wastewater treatment is a problematic waste due to low product value and high volume. This fellowship aims to develop an innovative integrated process for efficiently managing sludge, with goals of increasing the processing capacity of existing biosolid treatment facilities, enhancing energy recovery efficiency from sludge, improving sludge quality, and removing per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFASs) from sludge.
